A Tauren's Tale

Well…it was a long weekend…that part felt really good. I went to OC (MD) on friday, traffic was surprisingly not all that bad. Had a good time…was pretty much drunk from 4 in teh afternoon till 2am when i decided it was time to eat and go to sleep. Pictures will be in my gallery. Then on saturday…had some fun screwing around on the beach with a volley ball…we realized just how much we suck…people were getting up and moving for fear of us hitting them…opps. Other then that there was some drama but nothing important enough to go into here.

Then saturday night my mom calls me saying my dad is up in a tree trying to cut a “limb” down and asks if i can help him before he kills himself. So i go over and see this is no little limb that he is trying to bring down it is more like the whole tree. Ok that is a little exagerated but it wasn’t just a little limb. So he is cutting it down with a bow saw that is way to small for the “limb” he is trying to take down. Credit to him…he did have like 3/4 or maybe more of this “limb” cut by time i get tehre so i finished it up and pulled it out of the tree with my truck because he said his wouldn’t get it when he tried…HIS TRUCK WOULDN’T YANK IT OUT OF THE TREE…(isn’t this a time to think wow this is big?) but whatever so i pull it out and now it lays in the corner of their yard…across the drive way…and about half way through the neighbors yard. Mind you this is a “limb” So since me being a power tool junky…went and got a chainsaw…man that thing is fun. That was what made the whole trip worth it. Got the chainsaw and cut it into managable pieces in my 15 mins. Then pulled it into the yard…then postponed my attack until monday… then monday i come over and start cutting away…about 3 or so hours later i am done. Good thing cause my back was starting to bother me. (pictures also in the gallery)

On sunday…kind of going backwards here. I went with amy up to her mom’s house. It was fun a little boring just cause i really don’t have much to talk to them about. but we played badmitton…(however you spell that) that was fun. i never really played before…the food was good and the weather was pretty decent. So that is about all that happened over the weekend.

Well the weekend was pretty good. A little depressing but good. I am sure now some people will be happier with me. I started all the paper work for me to join the IRR in the CG which means i won’t have to drill anymore and the likeliness of me getting recalled is pretty slim. Still have a better chance then them starting the draft back up though. It was kind of depressing, just accepting that the CG wasn’t all i really wanted it to be, and saying goodbye to everyone. Not that i really care about most of them but there are a small few that i hope i can keep in touch with. I am sure i won’t but it would be nice. Other then that went driving golf balls yesterday and twisted my knee and i was hoping it would feel better in the morning but nope actually feels a little worse. Feels like i am in the dog house…the GF doesn’t seem happy with me. I am sure it has something to do with me being lazy lately and not really cleaning up after myself…she cleaned up last night and was unhappy while doing it. I was half napping when she was doing it. i am sure she asked me to help but i don’t really remember…so yeah other then me being in the dog house and my knee hurting and all i am pretty copesetic…

So yeah, I just went outside and I think someone isn’t going to have a car when they get out of work. Though it all be speculation, it seems odd that some random guy pulls up and backs a tow-truck up behind some big vans, gets out and smokes a ciggerette, then starts looking down the street with binoculars. Then chats on the phone but pretty much just hangs out, while he keeps talking on the phone intermittently and still ever so often looking through the binoculars down the street. Something just doesn’t add up to anything but a lost car or one that will be lost soon. I really wanted to hang out to see it all (if that is what it is) because i really want to know now. It is so wrong of me but i would be terribly amused by it all.

Well upon further investigation, the tow truck says SRI on the side…which just so happens to be a repo service in Baltimore…wouldn’t be all that long of a drive for that to happen.

So who knows what is going to happen but sure as shit i want to know.

Well…the saga continues then ends rather uneventfully…the guy drove around the parking lot 4 or 4 times and then went away. I am sad I really wanted to see something happen or atleast hear that something happened.

Well…the game is done. A rather uneventful ending but none the less a pain in the ass. It is great that they give you a save point right before you get to the big boss man but that guy sucks. You have to dodge him a bunch of times and generally he still slaps the shit out of you frequently throwing you off of the edge…but i beat him eventually after much trials and tribulations. Other then that the night was pretty uneventful. Now onto finding a new game to play cause that game was a lot of fun.

So yeah i am completly addicted to this game. Only like 3 more “missions” till the big boss man, but this one i am on really sucks….you have a pretty long trek to get to the C4 that you have to find which just so happens to be on the complete other side of the game…shocker huh…well everything is rather uneventful in the room (minus all the explosive barrels and laser mines…all until you grab the c4…then this exospectere comes out of nowhere (litterally, since he is invisable until he either hits you or you shoot him, or in the rare occasion he doesn’t feel like being invisable anymore) but you can’t shoot him really cause if you miss you hit a barrel and blow yourself up and then you get to make the trek again…i was actually really upset cause i was trying to pick up ammo and it said i didn’t have a gun for this ammo…i didn’t like that very much cause i want all of the weapons i can all the more when i get into the gunfight but luckily they give it to you at the end of this room…which is nice right before you blow yourself up and have to run the whole mission again….so hopefully i will get some time and get past that tonight….ok on to bigger and more depressing things…bowled for first place last night failed miserably we lost by like 100 pins over 3 games and to make matters worse it was against my dad’s team so i lost to my dad…i am not a happy camper about that one. but i did be him even up…it was his team that won the games not him…going into the night we both had identical averages so it was pretty much a scratch game for the father – son rilvary so to speak. Well i think that is about it for now.
