A Tauren's Tale

Well once again I am terrible so I haven’t posted since the golden compass thing which doesn’t really count as a post. Well so bowling since that was the last thing I wrote about…well it is turning out to be a big fiasco. The short of it is:
I was listed as 3rd in singles great!! ( I win a decent chunk of change for that) but my score for the all events was not up there. So being confused I called down to the guy that was in charge of the tournament and he said well here is how we figured it out. You only get your handicap once so basically for me that takes away 300 pins. Since it is a USBC sanctioned tournament it has to be Handicaped and for every game you are supposed to get your handicap. It really makes it possible for people to compete. Now had I know how it was all calculated by this wack-o I wouldn’t have paid the extra money to enter all events…but that is a problem but hasn’t caused it to turn into a fiasco. So while I was on the phone with the guy he basically said this is how we figured it out. I said well that’s not fair. He goes yeah i know but too bad. I am sorry you didn’t win any money. So I told Adam about it and you know I don’t care how they figure it out so much as I care that I have a fair chance. If I am not going to have a chance then I am not going to put the money in. Well Adam knowing how tournaments are called USBC and now all of the money is supposed to be frozen so the guy can’t pay any money out and there is going to be an audit and who knows what is going to happen. The thing is that I really don’t care about the money as much as I care that it is fair. If I loose then that is fine as long as it is fair. So we shall see where everything ends up could be an interesting few weeks.
