So I stole this from Jon Who did a real fine job editing it all up…it has been a year since that day. Thank god here’s to hoping for another year fiber cut free!

Here is my original post on the matter…a bit delayed but accurate for the times.

So yeah the last two days…=… a mess so we are having Public Folder replication issues on our internal exchange server. MS dose a few things right with support but still falls short a lot. I have been working with them quite a bit over my so to say career. They definitely will stay with you until the issue is resolved. However they may not talk to you for a while and they love putting you on hold. I would say so far I have been working with them on this issue for about 10 hours, probably more. But I have probably been on hold for at least have of that time if not much much more. For example today, I have been on the phone for 57 minutes so far, I have probably been off of hold for 15 of that on the high side. Also they are very random about the questions that they ask and make it seem like they have never seen things like. multiple nic cards in an exchange server…hello you are part of the exchange team are you telling me no one has dual nics in any machine that you have dealt with? Come on. So i will continue to watch this guy do his thing through MS Easy Assist (MS PCAnywhere) and answer what questions he has until we find a resolution. The problem is that this is really causing problems and delays in our migration process. But we should still be able to get through everything without too much of a problem. Who knows……
